Support

An initial discussion with the Headteacher, helps audit the leadership strengths and training needs, with a bespoke, tailored leadership training and / or development support programme being proposed and agreed. Exemplar material, feedback and a report are produced on the strengths of the school leadership, the training required and guidance as to next steps to secure stronger leadership and effectiveness.
Outlined below are particularly successful leader development support packages. Should you need a different content to any of the programmes – please get in touch.
 
Leadership Lifeline: Middle Leaders

Providing mentoring, key documentation, e.g. schemes of work and programmes of study, and workshops in key leadership skills, this package provides new-to-post middle leaders with the resources and skills they need to enable them to hit the ground running with their new team. 

Leadership Lifeline: Senior Leaders

Providing mentoring, key documentation, e.g. monitoring and tracking sheets for their area of responsibility, and workshops in key senior leadership skills, this package provides new-to-post senior leaders with the resources and skills they need to enable them to hit the ground running with their new responsibilities.

Leadership Lifeline: Headteachers

Providing mentoring and support in key areas, e.g. behaviour and the school's safeguarding, capability and disciplinary procedures, this package provides new-to-post headteachers with the resources and skills they need to enable them to hit the ground running with their new school.

 

Ofsted Ready: Leadership

Auditing the school’s evaluation of leadership, this support provides external verification for the school’s judgement around leadership. In particular it looks at the evidence on the ground, identifying how well the leaders' "talk" matches their "walk".  Using school documentation, data and learning walks to provide an accurate picture and a reliable report on the school's leadership.

Ofsted Ready: Safeguarding and Behaviour

Auditing the school’s safeguarding and behaviour procedures, this support provides external verification for the school’s processes and procedures. In particular it looks at the statutory and Ofsted expectations for safeguarding and behaviour and how well the school meets those expectations. High impact and best practice models are suggested where needed.
