Course summary

Outstanding Progress Over Time provides a number of strategies for teachers and school leaders to implement, and as a result, secure outstanding progress over time. The benefits of the course include easy-to-apply tips and strategies in creating effective curriculum maps, programmes of study and schemes of work, ensuring that everything that needs to be taught is taught. It helps teachers and students to have a clear and coherent path of teaching and learning that builds on and strengthens previous teaching and learning.

All modules can be delivered either together as a suite of training through, for example, an INSET day or individually as twilight or remote training.

Course summary

Effective Assessment in the Classroom helps teachers ans school leaders be more skilled, more knowledgeable and therefore more effective at assessing pupil work. Providing you with short courses which develop your technical and evaluation skills, it helps clarify and strengthen your ability to differentiate between assessment that helps drive learning and assessment of that learning.

Onslow St Audrey’s School (2018), improved their Progress 8 score by +0.25

Barnhill Community High School (2019) achieved Progress 8 score of well above average +0.57

Arts and Media School, Islington (2019) increased their average Attainment 8 score to 4.2, second highest improvement in the borough. 

Experience

My experience in this area is as an author and successful teacher and school leader for over 25 years, leading staff development and being a leadership coach in schools for over 15 of those. In addition, my own curriculum maps, schemes of work and programmes of study have been published by Ofsted and a number of universities and training providers.
